THE CHINESE NEW YEAR
This Chinese New Year, we will welcome the Yang – Water-Tiger.
On Tuesday, February 1st, we will celebrate the Lunar New Year. The Yang Water Tiger is a year that brings flexibility, mental agility, creativity and intelligence.
It is the year of achievements, overcoming challenges, determination and looking straight ahead.
In Chinese medicine, a circle of five elements – wood, fire, earth, metal, and water- create a 60-year cycle. The Yang-Water Tiger has not happened for the last 60 years, and Yang Water is connected to flowing water and rivers.
The Tiger is a symbol of power, prestigiousness, and loneliness. The Tiger does not get along with many animals; they roam, roar and like to be free. They are not frightened of competition, unique and free-thinking; no one can compete with the Tiger.
As the Tiger is paired with the water element, knowing water can be calm, quiet and reserved may be the emotional side of the Tiger. If you have a baby within the Year of the Tiger, they will be charming, brave, self-confident, competitive and have willpower and strength.
